A late 1980s Italian dining setting built around a round clear glass top resting on a segmented black glass pedestal base, paired with four Arrben dining chairs in chrome and black leather. The table carries the sharp visual restraint of postmodern Italian interiors, where reflective surfaces and geometric mass were used to create structure without visual heaviness, while the chairs balance that with Arrben’s characteristic light tubular chrome frame and sculptural sling like leather seat and back. The relationship works because neither piece competes for attention, each one is resolved through line and proportion rather than ornament. This sits best in interiors where the architecture is already doing the work and the furniture is expected to hold that standard quietly.
