Paul Legeard was among the French designers working in the 1970s who treated polished chrome as a primary architectural material rather than a finish, producing tables and furniture whose structural logic was fully visible and intentional. This dining table follows that language precisely, with a flat bar chrome frame resolved into a angled X stretcher at the base and rectangular portal legs that carry the clear glass top with no visual interruption. The frame work is tight and geometric, the chrome highly polished, and the proportions sit at the more considered end of the postmodern European dining table. It belongs in a room that has already committed to a minimal material palette where the reflection of the chrome becomes part of the interior rather than a distraction from it.
