A circa 1970s chrome and glass console table offered together with a Bauhaus style black leather cantilever armchair from the same period. The pairing brings together two distinct expressions of European modernist furniture design, united by polished tubular steel, architectural geometry and the contrast between reflective metal, transparent glass and black leather.

The console is defined by the substantial gauge of its chrome plated tubular steel frame. Thick circular tubing forms a rectangular perimeter above four straight legs, while the inset clear glass top keeps the construction open and the polished metal visible from every angle. Its long, shallow proportions work particularly well in an entrance, hallway or behind a sofa.

The accompanying armchair features continuous chrome tubing, elegantly rounded arms and a suspended black leather seat and backrest. Its cantilever frame echoes the console's clean geometry without overwhelming the setting, creating a coordinated arrangement with a strong 1970s modernist character.

Measures:
Console 134cm W x 36cm D x 72cm H
Chair 60cm W x 50cm D x 81cm H (Seat 47cm H)

Conditioned for presence and atmosphere with age appropriate wear expected of a vintage piece. The console retains bright, reflective chrome with surface marks and wear consistent with age and use. The chair's chrome is exceptionally bright and well preserved, while its black leather remains in very good vintage condition with minor creasing and surface wear.
