This circular dining table pairs a thick clear glass top with a sculptural pedestal base formed from curved sections of frosted glass finished in an opaque blue tone, creating a strong architectural profile while keeping the overall structure visually light. The intersecting pedestal reads as both solid and translucent depending on the angle, giving the piece the restrained geometric language associated with late modern and postmodern interiors. Rather than relying on ornament, the design uses repetition, reflection and curved form to establish presence through proportion and material. These tend to sit best in interiors where the dining zone is expected to contribute to the architecture of the room rather than simply occupy it, particularly in apartments or open plan spaces built around fewer, larger forms. The clear top keeps light moving through the space, while the blue glass base introduces colour and structure without visual heaviness.
