This vintage Luxo Model L1 articulated task lamp represents the larger, earlier iteration of Luxo’s industrial lighting program, produced prior to the widespread adoption of the more compact L2. The extended steel arms offer a longer working radius, paired with strong spring balance and a substantial clamp mount characteristic of early professional and industrial installations. The approximately 15 cm diameter metal shade is stamped Luxo, with proportions and detailing consistent with pre-1960 production, before later flared and lighter domestic variants emerged. Built for workshops, studios, and technical environments, the lamp carries the visual authority of equipment designed to perform continuously rather than decorate. Tested and in working condition.
