Produced in the early to mid 20th century for day to day site use, this painted timber tool carry case reflects the logic of hand work before disposability. The long shallow profile accommodates chisels, planes, braces, and measuring tools, with internal compartment divisions arranged for efficiency rather than display. A rope handle and simple steel latch point to self made practicality, repaired and maintained as needed over time. Marked by use, it retains the authority of an object shaped by repetition and purpose.
