1980s Comoda Chair by Maurizio Peregalli for Zeus Noto with Black Glass Pedestal Desk/Table

$3,595.00

Designed by Maurizio Peregalli for Zeus Noto, the Comoda chair reflects the restrained industrial language that defined much of late 1980s Italian minimalism. The thin blackened steel frame and curved tubular arm detail reduce the chair almost to linework, while the black split pedestal table pushes the composition further into architectural territory through mass, reflection, and negative space. Together, the pairing carries the severe clarity of postmodern interiors that favoured proportion and silhouette over ornament. This is the kind of setting where every object has already been edited down to only what is necessary. The black glass surface shifts constantly with surrounding light, while the chair holds its structure almost like a drawn outline within the room.
