A sculptural 1980s dining setting comprising a black opaque glass top table with split black glass pedestal base and four Italian Arrben dining chairs in black leather and chrome. The table carries a distinctly late postmodern architectural language through the intersecting curved pedestal forms, while the Arrben chairs balance tension and lightness through their asymmetrical tubular chrome frames and suspended leather seats. Together, the setting resolves into something far sharper and more controlled than most period glass dining suites from the era. This is the kind of setting that sits naturally inside interiors where artwork, lighting and material restraint are already doing most of the talking. The black glass absorbs light rather than reflecting it aggressively, giving the entire setting a quieter and more deliberate presence in the room.
