Designed by Adrian Pearsall, these two matching Model 843-C armchairs are constructed in solid walnut and reupholstered in a soft duck egg blue woven fabric. With two matching examples available, the strong lateral lines and exposed spindle backs can work in deliberate balance rather than as a single accent chair. Long tapered legs, lifted side rails and shaped armrests give the deep, reclined seats a light American modernist profile, while the cool upholstery sharpens the warmth and movement of the walnut.
