Produced for Bay Leather Republic, this leather lounge chair and matching ottoman are strongly aligned with the Hopper armchair designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. A substantial polished metal frame supports a suspended pale grey leather sling with deeply channelled cushions, slim padded arms and a cylindrical headrest, creating the long semi reclined profile associated with the Italian design. This set is correctly identified by the Bay Leather Republic stamp beneath the leather and is not offered as a Minotti production. The presence of the matching ottoman is critical, extending the chair into a complete reclining arrangement and preserving the full visual rhythm of the design. Precise metalwork, generous leather and the exposed relationship between frame and upholstery give the set a cool contemporary presence with the relaxed atmosphere of high end Italian furniture.
