Produced by FIAM Italy, this vintage glass desk or dining table strips the form back to glass, proportion and light. The oval smoked top appears to float above a sculptural curved clear glass base, giving the piece an architectural presence from every angle. Beautifully restrained in its execution, it sits comfortably within modernist and postmodern interiors while remaining timeless in its simplicity. Desks and tables of this scale and purity have become increasingly difficult to source, particularly from FIAM, whose work helped redefine structural glass furniture during the late twentieth century.

Age appropriate edge wear, including a handful of small chips, is present and reflected in the overall presentation without diminishing the visual impact of the piece.
