Formed from a single continuous sheet of black smoked glass in the manner of Fiam, this substantial coffee table carries its broad rectangular surface through two radiused bends into angled waterfall ends that flare gently outward rather than dropping vertically. A very small crack is present at one lower edge and is difficult to detect at normal viewing distance, with the close photograph zoomed in specifically to make it visible. Its 140cm span, near black tone and uncommon angled profile create a configuration that would be difficult to replace. The uninterrupted glass construction remains visually precise and restrained, while the depth of the smoke tint holds reflections close to the surface and gives the table a dark modernist presence.
