Mid to late twentieth century Italian coat rack in cast and turned brass, combining a fluted central column with an ornate crown and multiple scrolling hooks. The upper section carries classical revival detailing, while the base is formed with three lion paw feet, a motif long associated with European furniture as a symbol of permanence and authority. The construction shows a mix of cast decorative elements and machined sections, typical of Italian production where traditional styling met efficient fabrication. This is the kind of piece that sits naturally in entry sequences where architectural detailing and material weight are already established.
