Italian Postmodern Side Table Circa 1980s Chrome, Glass and Black Marquina Marble
Where the first table in this series distributes its weight across multiple brackets and finials, this variation resolves the same material vocabulary into a single sweeping chrome arc that splits at the base and rises to carry two offset circular glass tiers. The chrome work here is more fluid and less mechanical, the curved form sitting in contrast to the weighted Marquina marble disc below, its white veining visible against the deep black ground. A small chrome ring detail at the mid column junction is the only decorative note, restrained enough to read as structural. It belongs in a room that already has a considered relationship between dark and light materials.
