Produced in Paris and designed by Pierre Vandel, this eight seat dining table combines a black painted aluminium frame with fine gold detailing and a substantial black glass top. The octagonal geometry, layered frame and restrained metallic accents place it firmly within the glamorous side of late twentieth century French modernism, where architectural structure met a distinctly Parisian sense of polish. The original PIERRE VANDEL PARIS signature remains prominently displayed on the frame. Black on black could easily disappear. The gold lines and hard geometry make sure this one does the opposite.
