Designed by Daniel Barbera for Barbera, the Uccio barstool pares seating back to its essential elements through a slender powder coated steel frame and thick saddle leather seat and backrest. The tensioned leather construction and restrained industrial detailing give it a distinctly contemporary character while allowing it to sit comfortably within modernist and minimalist interiors. Rarely encountered on the secondary market, it is the sort of piece that disappears quickly once designers recognise what it is.
