An unattributed vintage photographic poster mounted on board and finished with slim dark edging. Its horizontal composition gathers cherries, grapes, bananas, apples, citrus, melons, pineapple and nuts around a central woven basket. The panoramic format allows the abundance of fruit to extend across the full width of the image, giving the work considerably more presence than a conventional kitchen still life. Saturated reds, greens and golden yellows emerge from the dark background with a rich decorative intensity suited to a kitchen, dining space or hospitality interior.
