Designed by Tord Björklund for IKEA, the RY side table was introduced in 1989. This vintage chrome version pairs a circular clear glass top with a looping tubular frame, the upright rising into an arched handle above the tabletop before returning to meet the glass.

A compact piece with a strong graphic presence. The open horseshoe base draws a broad curve across the floor, while the clear top and reflective chrome keep its profile light. Positioned beside a lounge or armchair, it brings the spare geometry of modernist furniture into the playful design language of the late 1980s.

Measures: approximately 40cm W x 42cm D x 70cm H (tabletop approximately 55.5cm H).

Conditioned for presence and atmosphere with age appropriate wear expected of a vintage piece. Surface wear and marks are visible to the chrome, including at the ends of the base.
