These gates present as architectural objects, defined by height, repetition, and surface detail.
Formed in silvered steel with applied cast brass ornament, the structure is organised around spear finials, twisted vertical bars, and symmetrical foliate reliefs. Cast rosettes and scrolling motifs introduce a classical register, while the pairing of metals gives depth and contrast without reliance on colour. At full height, the gates read as a threshold rather than a barrier, their presence established through proportion and rhythm.
