This vintage cane lounge suite comprises one three seat lounge and two matching armchairs, each constructed with broad rounded rails, wrapped joints and dense diamond latticework across the sides and lower frames. Its strength lies in the survival of the complete setting, allowing the repeated cane geometry to carry across all three pieces rather than being reduced to a single isolated chair. Generous cushioning and enveloping arms give the suite a relaxed presence while the open lattice maintains visual lightness across its considerable scale.

Harper Fredericks Designer Reworks takes selected vintage furniture and develops a considered alternative to the piece as found. We retain the original structure and character while making specific decisions around finish, materials and repair. Each Designer Rework is developed specifically for the individual vintage piece within a defined selection of finishes and materials.

The suite may be purchased in its current condition at the listed price. When commissioned as a Designer Rework, the additional fee includes cleaning and freshly oiling the cane and recovering the cushions in fabric selected from the Harper Fredericks collection of vintage deadstock textiles. Should any repairs be required, these will be made to the bindings and seat strapping as part of the Rework process. The creamy upholstery shown presents one considered direction for the completed suite, with final pricing determined by the selected fabric and confirmed scope of work.
